I am building a PIII700@933 system for a friend.

They want a "cheap" video card that will run at a 89MHZ (mother board doesn't have 1/2 AGP mult). I bought a Savage2000 but I now know that isn't going to work.

What should I get on a budge of less than 100?

Do all of the GeForce2 MX cards support that high AGP bus? How about ATIs?

You could get one of the pci V3's. I don't know if there are any pci GF MX's though.

Should be OK....just make sure that Sidebanding has been disabled. Doesn't do anything for performance anyway.

My GeForce2 GTS handles the high AGP bus. Everything that I have read about both the GeForce SDR and DDR is that they can handle it but with SBA off.

Since I too only keep up with the lastest hardware in my boxes, it was tough to find old cards that work at a high AGP bus. :)

Thanks guys!
