What version of MMP do I have?

I am running W7 64 bit and should have WMP 12 installed. However my Programs says that I have Media Player Classic. How do I positively determine what version that I have? I have installed a new Sony NWZ-E354 player and I can't get it to open to transfer files when connected to the PC. I have tried everything recommended and some things that I made up with no luck.This is a last check just to make sure. Thanks.
