I was wondering the same thing. I finally took the plunge and upgraded to WinXP. (No flames please)
I just did the whole format/install thing yesterday (it went smooth, amazingly) I had downloaded
all of the most up to date drivers that I could find and was surprised I was never asked for any of them.
XP seemed to load everything correctly. Nvidia has the latest Detonator drivers, but XP Windows Update
installed it's own update when I checked. The ones on Nvidia's site say they aren't "XP logo'd"...
I had seen in a thread (on a gaming site) that some people were having major problems with the Nvidia
reference drivers. I'm not sure if they are better or not (there's always someone that has problems, I'm
not sure if the majority are having them or not).
My card is the VisionTek Geforce2 GTS-v btw... so, I'm just curious if anyone has any tips or info on this also.
