what username/pw to use to download from iphone 3g app store?

i'm trying to dl my first app and its asking me for a username/pw. what username and pw do i use?

someone said the "itunes store" username/pw but what is that?????

Set up an itunes account on your computer?

You go to the iTunes store, you try to buy something "Uh-oh" it says "You don't have an account with us". So, it leads you through the steps the create an account.

The same applies for free items as well.
