What used Lexus is comparable to a used Acura TSX?

I want to spend about $10-11K. Is there a used Lexus comparable to a 2008 Acura TSX preferably with a manual transmission?

IS250 is the only recent lexus with a stick. and they barely made any of those. attn. toyota: people paying $35,000+ for car with a stick want the stick for performance/control reasons, not fuel economy reasons - you made the wrong product decision and then wondered why people didn't buy it.

So are you saying that they made sucky stick version? What's wrong with it in your opinion?

The base V6 is weak. People buy the 250 to save a few bucks.

While the TSX-4 isn't exactly a speed demon either the stick improves the driving experience immensely. The IS350 would have been better suited by a stick.

not enough power in the 250. performance buyers looking for small lux sedans weren't looking at the 250 because it was so down on power compared to the G and the 335. i wouldn't be surprised if there wasn't a sport suspension option on the 250 either.

looking at fueleconomy.gov, for 2012 the 250 stick got 3 mpg combined worse than the 250 automatic too. so you didn't even get fuel economy buyers picking them up.

who was that car for?

Based on a quick comparison I did, it looks like I should get a TSX but I'm just not that crazy about the body. It's ok. Maybe with tints it will look better. I don't know.

Drive both. One's a FWD 4banger and the other a RWD 6. That's why I said they aren't really direct comparable. A Camry with leather or an ESwhatever is a better comparable IMO.

😵 Lexus sells a shit ton of those cars. I'd bet it is one of their best selling cars.
