What US city do you perceive to have the "best" weather?

Some of coastal LA/OC comes a pretty close second.
Oxnard
Palos Verdes
El Segundo
Dana Point
Laguna Hills

In general, they are similar in weather to SD anyway. SF is a whole other story.

Actually, Miami and Denver are the number 1 and 2 cities for total number of annual sun days.

Yeah and it's hot as fuck desert weather.

San Diego. Perpetual 70 degree weather with a cool sea breeze.

Phoenix. Nobody matches the clear sunny skies nearly year round.

I agree. While the majority of the country has 7-9 months of crappy weather and 3-4 months of great weather, Phoenix is opposite. Sept - May are best.

This comes from someone who has lived in Seattle, Miami, Sacramento, Durham, and Cincinatti.

Honolulu sucks period. Most towns/cities in Hawaii with awesome weather are on the west/south facing shores. Kihei is really nice... ;)
