What upgrade should I do next???

I'm currently running a half decent rig mildly overclocked...


Epox 9ndaj Nforce 3 mobo
A64 3200+ @ 2.4ghz (limited by motherboard.. could go to 2.6 in a friends board)
X850XT AGP @ 550/580
2GB Kingston HyperX PC4000
BFG 550 watt power supply
Audigy 2 ZS soundcard
74GB 10k rpm raptor HD
250GB 7.2k RPM HD
DELL 2005FPW LCD

Processor upgrade maybe??? 2.4ghz isn't terrible.. if I could get a better mobo 2.6 would be ideal.
I'm thinking power supply.. modstream 520.
Also thinking about upgrading my board for better OC but I would do it to get PCIX this fall anyways...

I'm probly gonna wait on seeing SLi/CROSSFIRE R520/7800 ultra
7800GTX is tempting but I can't pull the trigger without competition pushing Nvidia.

Might say screw next upgrade and get an ipod. lol

Suggestions? Scrutinize my rig 🙂 haha

Your system looks fine and an upgrade with yield a waste of money. Save up for when new stuff comes.

get 2 7800GTX for SLI. also get the dual core A64. get liquid nitrogen cooling while you're at it.

Go spend $1000 bucks, install Windows XP again and notice that there is NO DIFFERENCE when comparing your old system to your new system.

I was seriously thinking about dabbling in watercooling at somepoint but might wait for my next system.

I'll leave it as is for awhile, I don't really trust my BFG 550 watt power supply I got it in combo with my 6800GT awhile back. It'll be one fell swoop....

BTW ItmPls... You can buy my girlfriends rolldown when I upgrade... x800xt & A64 3000+ 🙂
