They'll be back. Right now, I run the stats webserver from a Sun workstatation in my apartment - connected to the the via cable modem. I power cycled the modem and got a new DHCP address (first time in ~9 months). So I'm waiting for granitecanyon.com to update mattzone.com's DNS records to point to the new IP. Should be back soon. Why these cable companies insist on using dynamic addresses for these "always on" connections is beyond me.

Still _collecting_ stats every day.

I'm seriously thinking about getting TZO to avoid this in the future...

Nexus9,

<< Why these cable companies insist on using dynamic addresses for these "always on" connections is beyond me. >>

The answer is very simple. They do not want to have to maintain records of ip addresses.

Man Nexus, your lucky to hold it for 9 months bro! When I moved my website it took 3 days to update the DNS servers, slow process...is suck.

Thanks again for providing the stats...I'M HOOKED! :)

Nexus, looks like you're lost in the IP world. I might be willing to run the stats from my host depending on how much space it takes. Send me an email so we can talk. This would make the IP permanent and insure continuous service. LMK
