What universal remote do you use?

I had two harmony one's and now I am on a Harmony 650. Even a 2' fall onto an area rug over tile would usually break the LCD. I have since put in rug underlayment so many things would be better now.

The 650 controls all my devices and I have less questions from the kids on functions.

You got an 870 in the last 5 days? And what the heck is an 870? did you mean a 670 or 880?

my bad, called out to the living room to get the model number the 10 year old said 870. It's a 650 that controls my 5 devices.

I'm still using two Harmony 880s, though they're starting to go (one requires hard key presses and the other seems to deliver double the keypresses). I've been holding off on replacing them because I was considering going the tablet/smart phone route but I am not sure that's going to work out the way I want.

if it works with your current harmony, i don't see how it wouldn't work with one of the phone/tablet remotes.

Not to long ago, the Harmony ones were obtainable near $120 or so. Now, they are nearly impossible to find and when you do, you are looking at ridiculous $300. I'd really like to avoid the touch, and the current 650 has constant bad reviews. Anyone aware of reasonably priced Harmony Ones?

I didn't even know they discontinued the one until your post. I'm never letting this thing go lol. It had a cracked screen and had even survived being thrown against a wall. That new button layout SUCKS for dvr.
