i tried a search, no luck, the people at best buy said it was a socket 7? i was looking for a new mb for it. but i need to know what type it is.

It's Socket 7. But to use the 100MHz FSB capability of the K62/350, you need a 'super' socket 7 mobo. It's the same actual socket, but a super socket 7 (SS7) mobo supports 100FSB versus 66FSB.

i was looking at this one on pricegrabber SOCK 370 815E ATX 5PCI VID CREATIVE SND AGP4X ATA100 133MH its like $69 from http://www.compuvest.com/ i just need something cheap that will work. any suggestions?

No, socket 370 is for older Celerons and Pentium 3s. I don't know if any SS7 boards are available new anymore, what you need is something like an Asus P5A, Gigabyte 5AX, etc. You may have better luck in the FS/FT forum here.

Go to pricewatch "click" on motherboards.In the second colum from left "click" on "Super 7"

ya i thought that one was for intel, it was included when i searched for socket 7 mb. thanks for the help.
