what type of tv mount/stand setup do you have at home?

I've got a Benno tv stand from Ikea.. basic & simple but gets the job done. The shelves are about 16" deep which would be a tight fit if the back wasn't mostly open.

I bought this TV stand a couple weeks ago from Circuit City. It came fully built in the box which was pretty awesome. Everything runs great in it, but I felt my receiver was just a tiny bit warmer than id like, so I took an old cell phone charger (5V out) and soldered a 120mm computer fan to it. With the charger plugged into the receivers switched outlet, it turns on and spins silently only when the receiver is on, and the receiver barely gets warm to the touch anymore.

Having the TV off the fireplace made all the difference in the world. Now I just need to find something to put on the fireplace so its not just an open nothing

thats a strange arrangement for a living room, not much space for a tv.

Yeah, well it seems pretty obvious the builder intends for TV's to be up on the fireplace, too bad its really not that comfortable to watch with more than 2 ppl, lol. They even put the cable jack up there... grrr.
