What type of places are generally open for weekend jobs?

I have track and it takes up most of my time on the weekdays. Now, i need a car. My family won't finance the car unless i work to pay off the insurance. Since i'm only free on the weekends (not always too! i have invitationals on some saturdays), i need to find a weekend job. What type of job usually has openings for the weekends?

what about like at a starbucks? i think they are going strong and you'd probably meet lots of hot chicks. oh, and yeah, the smell is cool.

Ya gotta go with the classics: Restaurants and retail. I'm partial to the positions with tips or commisions myself, as opposed to a straight hourly rate, which is always too low.

Retail loves part-time workers who only want weekend work as most full-times will not work weekends, hope this helps 🙂

My friend is a Starbuck's rat, i'll ask him tomorrow if there are any openings.

Furthermore, restaurants and retailers particularly love part timers because they're not obliged to offer benefits, which, thanks to a broken and corrupt health care "system," cost employers big bucks.

Yep. This is true. Current trend is "full time temp". Means you're hosed🙂
