What type of motherboard for Tbird 800? gameplay and stable

I'm building a new system and I can't decide what type of motherboard to get. I think I'm going with an Asus KT7 w/o ISA. Any suggestions? And, will current m-boards support DDR RAM?

Asus makes the A7V, and Abit makes the KT7, out of the two, I would defintly recommend the Abit KT7, it is a very stable board, and works very well with my GeForce DDR

About DDR RAM, they ave been announced, i think you would see them at the end of this year

I will agree with AMB only if you like to overclock ,but if you want the best in stability(Sorry AMB) the MSI K7T PRO is the best choice, higher quality components & lower RMA rate then Abit.

I have a vendor offering me a MS 6340 ( micro ATX form factor ) with an Athlon 1000 Thunderbird.
I need it for gameplay and to be stable. I know little about mobos. Any comments on this one please?

Davbaron,That board is the Micro Version of MSI K7T PRO so should be just as good on stability for more info go here btw MSI are one of the top board makers when it comes to quality, stability & support.

I was going to use anandtech to find the best price for all my motherboard and cpu but they got rid of the pricing page. Anyone know why?
