When I was a kid (back in the 70's) I lived in Chicago and I remember Jack In The Box getting busted for using horse meat. Dont believe me look it up:)
Few years back when I lived in Joliet IL there was a Mexican fast food place shut down for using dog meat. Shame too because they had the best tastin food and cheap as hello too.
I love taco bell and I always get extra meat on my nachos. IF only you knew what all your eating in any meat or canned products. The usda allows factors of mouse/rat parts, droppings, the fruit you eat infested with instects. You eat that kind of scary stuff all the time. So really doesnt matter there is something nasty in almost all that is eaten. And if I believe right the usda only inspects like 1% of all products so no telling what all is getting past your consuming:)

I got a question, how do they determine the difference in the 8 different grades of beef as shown on the snopes page? Just what kind of beef is the standard and commercial that (?) fast foods places uses?
And it says the 3 lowest grades are used in ground beef and hot dogs. Is that really all the extra 'parts'?

When I was in college, a rumour went around that the local mexican restaurant served dog food. We stopped going for awhile, but eventually started going back, since it was so good. :D All these rumours of mexican/chinese/jack in the box restaurants using dog/cat are probably just that.

I lived in Korea for two years and they openly eat dog meat. I'm sure I've eaten dog meat before and didn't realize it.
