what type of heatsink/fan do i need for slotkets?

I'm pretty sure you need a socket heatsink for a slocket. It should mount on 2 to 6 of the zif socket lugs. Something such as the global win FOP32/38 should work. Then again I've never used a slocket...I'm just taking a shot here.

You can use any Socket type heat sink, but make sure that:

1. It isn't too heavy, or it can put too much stress on the slocket adapter.
2. It isn't too tall, or it can interfere with your memory DIMM's.

I would recommend using something similar to the Tualatin Celeron's retail heat sink fan unit.

p3 800E, i will attempt to overclock, i believe i have an IWILL slotket
any suggestions of inexpensive heatsink/fan combo that will work?

Try to get a HSF from Vantec with the 38cfm fan. They have the best performance/price ratio.
