I purchased a Zalman heatpipe but when I went to install it...my Retail ATI 7500 didn't have holes in the pcb for the mount. I am now looking at using some adhesive and get a big heatsink. Any ideas for a quiet solution?

I don't know what your doing with that card that you wou need extra cooling but since you asked this system exhaust blower on this page Link works well. It fit in the PCI slot next to the AGP slot. Hovers over the heatsink and works pretty well. Cheaper than a Zalman and if it doesn't work for you your out $3.99 + s/h. I like Nextfan.com too! They always been good to me!

Anything should work... seriously. The 8500 has been passively cooled with just the fan disconnected.

The 7500 runs pretty cool actually, the AIW version even came fanless on some models (which is underclocked from a regular 7500 btw). You could underclock it a bit if it gets too hot, but I'd try fanless unless you're overclocking it.

The stock hsf is way to loud for me. I took off the stock hsf before I realized that the Zalman heatpipe wouldn't work. I don't overclock my video cards...I mainly go for quiet solutions.
