What type of HDTV monitor would I NOT have to worry about burn in?

If/when I get an HDTV, it will be mostly so I can play console games in higher resolution. And video games tend to have a lot of static images on the screen, like status bars and crap like that. And I don't want the tachometer in Forza perminantly burned into my screen. So what type of HDTV monitor would be best for that?

DLP or LCD rear projection would be fine. Burn in really isn't much of a problem with newer technology sets. I believe modern CRTs don't even have the problem that badly.

DLP would be best. But realistically as long as you turn down the brighness & contrast to 50% from their high original factory settings you should be fine with any type of TV set. It would also be recommended to use the Avia calibration discs. Or better yet, but admittedly more costly, would be to hire an ISF technician to come out and calibrate your set.
