what type of detector do u recommend for people who converted from oil to gas in the home?

Hi, used to have oil boiler, boiler took a sh!t.

had it removed and switched to gas.
they had to install a pipe going through my bedroom to access the gas line, so i want to buy a detector incase the pipe one day decides to take a sh!t as well and kills me.

does anyone have any recommendations?
am i detecting for anything besides monoxide?

Natural Gas has an odor. So hissing and odor, don't light a ciggy up.

But do get a carbon monoxide detector.

don't worry..maybe when that happens, ur time is really up so no point fighting it.

Although a canary detector has a fairly reasonable acquisition cost they require a lot of upkeep.
