besides, even without network security, if you have any Word/Excel files regarding patients in your shared files, they are covered by HIPAA.
besides, what kind of moron wants to meet minimum security requirements, especially when you are a doctors office and you have all the necessary data for Identity thieves to go crazy on.

Well when I was working with that stuff (from the medical side) the protection was in the EMR and and the network. However much like OSHA you will not get checked out untill there is a breach The big hospitals are not really the big issue it is the smaller clinic and private practice that has me concerned
