What type of Christmas Tree this year?

Regs

Lifer
I like the smell of the Douglass fir and it's very traditional for my family to get. However, the spruce tree's aren't as messy and they do tend to have a nice cone shape.

Don't know which one I'm getting this year...

My family gets a Douglass Fur every year (past 6-7 years or so, but before that we got some other kind of fur)

LOL..

Nobody ever gets any type of cedar for Christmas. They're not the same as a needled tree. Wouldn't have the rigth shape.

Further, I've never heard of anyone getting a (rather ornamental and expensive) Colorado Blue spruce, or any of the others either.

Douglas Fir(ironically, not a true fir) is the most common around here. Noble Fir(a true fir) is also popular.

I'm just waiting for PETA to jump all over you for wearing Douglas "furs" or for the government to declare Douglases an endangered species because they've been poached for their "fur".

Hint: It's "fir", not "fur".

😀

Back on topic: My wife and I bought a fake tree with the lights built in. 3 curious cats + real tree dropping needles everywhere = cat puke everywhere. Ask me how I know this.

Hi, I'm Douglass. Refer me to other moms too okay.

You need to put in a choice for Noble Fir 🙂
We get a Noble every year.
They're the best. Nice greenish-blue color, beautiful scent, excellent appearance, and strong well-spaced branches for ornaments.

edit: and it's Douglas Fir, not Douglass or Dougless, and not Fur 🙂

Whoa.. you're right. The poll is messed up.

Hey mods, we found a bug in fusetalk!

Edit, Ok. I just deleted the poll all together...
