Just wondering what type of booze is good but pretty cheap. Need to pick up a few things but dont know what to get.

Sake is one of the things I will be picking up but what else shoot I shoot for? Remember, must be cheap and have a decent taste to it.

Good and cheap don't generally go together. Define cheap. Famous Grouse scotch is under $20 a bottle, as is Tullamore Dew Irish whiskey. You can et decent wines cheap, but they don't last as long as liquor. I hate Bacardi, but a lot of people like it in Coke.

What kind of cheap are you talking? I love me some wisers special blend, and it is one of the cheaper rye varieties available. Other then that wild vines fruity wine stuff is popular with some of my female friends and is like 6 bucks a bottle up here in Canada.

Popov Vodka. If that's not good enough for you, you can throw in a Brita filter.

And LOL @ Op's name. 1990. I suppose it's like partying freshman year?

My guess, if you are just looking to get drunk and don't care about other stuff. Everclear or the equivalent + some strong flavoured juice. Can't get everclear here but you guys in the US can. Moonshine + juice will taste like bitter juice which is probably the fastest way to get drunk. Otherwise as others have said cheap vodka is a close second if not cheaper.

I've put off drinking to get plastered though, accept on a few occasions per year.
