The little critters started showing up recently, mostly in my kitchen area. I make sure I wash everything and dry it because I already made the mistake of leaving something out and they were all over it. I flushed them all down the sink.
I?m reading online on how to kill Sugar ants with Boric Acid Powder and Sugar so they can bring it back to the nest and queen. But these ants are black and about 1/8 of an inch or smaller. I don?t think they are carpenter ants, but maybe odorous house ant and whether the same boric acid solution would work.
By the way I?m in the Northeast in Long Island.
