How long have websites been advertising like here... and here?Which is worse? Mid-text keyword links or flashyful banners on the sides? I, for one have grown used to the banners, and I can usually ignore them. But those links are hard to miss! It appears the author has a link to some cool project or something...until you mouse over it. Poopup Of Death.

This doesn't happen with Firebird. Why must everyone mercilessly torture IE users?
 
Because it's easy to program for Microsoft...look at the wealth of script kiddies writing stupid-ass email viruses that affect Outlook/Outlook Express.
