What TV shows would you like to see remade?

Either as a re-image (ala Battlestar Galactica.. updated for the new millenium) or just remade. Same stories, just modern technology?

I'd love to see reimaging of A-Team, Airwolf, Blue Thunder.

A-Team was already remade as Leverage.

They're already doing an A-Team Movie..

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_A-Team_(film)

Liam Neeson as Col. John "Hannibal" Smith
Bradley Cooper as Lt. Templeton "Faceman" Peck
Quinton "Rampage" Jackson as Sgt. B. A. Baracus
Sharlto Copley as Capt. H. M. "Howling Mad" Murdock

I'd love to see it translated into a TV Series... keep the A-Team name.. keep the character names.. everything.

Kung-fu was my favorite show growing up so I gotta go there.

Western +1
Martial Arts +1
Philosophy/Confucism +1

I really enjoy Leverage, but compared to the A-Team it's lacking in the areas of guns that don't hit anything and vehicles that flip over due to conveniently placed explosions.

None really. They never manage to capture that Je ne sais quoi about the original series even in the best remakes.

Instead I just want them to produce more good new series and LESS REALITY TV PLEASE!!!

If I had to choose one maybe Quantum Leap.

I'm not sure which shows I want to see remade, but I sure would like to see more Sopranos and Seinfeld.

Are you sure about Seinfeld? I loved the show but have you seen the reruns lately? It's starting to look really dated and tired. The jokes still work but the series looks really stale.

Twilight Zone, with some quality writers. They tried bringing it back in the 80s or 90s, but it was just pretty special effects with second rate writing.

Seinfeld was shit have no idea how he's a billionaire. I literally never laughed at or with Jerry. Coupling is 100x better.

None. Maybe Hollywood could try something new and maybe go with some original ideas for once. Or even better, quit pulling the plug on shows that kick ass in the first season just because the audience hasn't had a chance to build.

Instead we will just get more shitty "who wants to be a corporate pop star" and MTV "I am a huge douchebag, put me in front of millions of dumb as shit impressionable kids" reality shows.

Beast Wars was already a remake of Transformers and they even remade Beast Wars several times, or rebooted the series or whatever you want to call it.

No they didn't. There was a sequel called Beast Machines, which sucked. There are new iterations of the Transformers franchise, but I want to see Beast Wars with updated CGI.

I have the DVD set. I think the show is still great despite it's age. The acting, the sense of community/familiarity of the setting is pretty awesome. I don't know, maybe it wouldn't work in today's times, but I just really miss the show hehe. What do you mean it looks "stale" though?

I don't mean the jokes or the acting. What I mean is not an issue really. I'm referring more to the backgrounds, the clothing styles, the furniture, etc etc... It all lends an atmosphere to most scenes that ages the look of the series more than it's actual age in years.

I'd love to see if a remake of Three's Company would fly with today's audiences.

It would be quickly labelled as sexist. Course being today they would also get some girls with killer bodies wearing even less cloths to play the 2 girls. So in some ways it might be more sexist lol.
