With Veronica Mars getting the 2 million to fund a movie it opens the doors to other Kickstart funded tv shows.

I was thinking Firefly but as Joss Whedon has said he his locked up with the Avengers and doesn't have time.

I have heard that a "Chuck" movie is a possiblity.

Personally I would like a Stargate: Atlantis movie to give a satisfactory ending, but iirc the Stargate movies cost 7-8 million when they were made years ago, so I don't know if that's practical.

What would you like to see Kickstarter fund?

I would only pledge support for a show if it offered both online streaming and downloading for later watching in HD (also if I liked the plot of course).

The stargate movies were never really great. They were ok, but really just extended television episodes. I don't think anything else Firefly has any chance of happening. I would have said the same about arrested development three years ago, though. And I don't really think Chuck needs an extension.

If I were going to do a Stargate movie, it would be universe. If I looked at the endings of the three stargate shows, Universe is the one with the biggest cliffhanger and the one that Ned's to have the story arc completed.

It took me years to finsih it because I hated the first season so much but Jericho finally got its act together when the series ended- I'd be curious to see where they would go if they got another shot.

The Fall Guy. That would make an awesome movie. Or they could just remake The Stunt Man. :hmm:

Pushing Daisies. The show was really good, but ended too soon. It would be nice to see a Made for TV movie to finish it and answer some of the questions it left hanging.

Firefly. Curse that traitorous Joss Whedon. Also Babylon 5, Deep Space 9,more Stargate, Legend of the Seeker but truer to the books, Star Wars Expanded Universe Thrawn miniseries, so forth.

season 2 of NBC's Kings - assuming all original writers, actors, etc (essentially, if it had never been cancelled)

That would be a serious challenge to accomplish by any stretch of the imagination, since the series itself ended with Atlantis landing cloaked just outside of San Francisco Bay. How, exactly, could you create anything "more final" after that other than maybe a tying up few character loose ends which in the grand scheme of things are meaningless, or completely ignoring the series finale and pretending it never happened in the first place.

If I were to "reboot" anything, SG:U has some serious potential. Especially with how they ended the series. They could take it as a clean slate pretty much with the series "finale" and then make it less the drama/soap opera and more akin to what made Stargate good in the first place.

Carnivale - ended on a hell of a cliffhanger.
Firefly - just didn't get the chance it deserved.
Pushing Daisies
Testees - I loved this show and it only got 1 season. There was so much more they could have done.

I concur about Stargate, the first movie was good, the shows were good, but the movies related to the shows were all "meh".

I'd take Atlantis back to the Pegasus galaxy and kick some Wraith butt(if they even have butts).
