Im having a hell of a time getting my linksys PCMCIA cardbus network card to work in mandrake 7.2

Its not being detected at all during install when i use the DEC (tulip) device driver files. They say i need to load up the latest version, but what version is bundled with mandrake 7.2? Somthing new enough id assume that would make this nic card work dont you say?

just startin to bug me now heh

🙂
thanks

this is a pcmcia card? its a seperate package than the normal kernel modules. do you have the kernel-pcmcia-cs packages installed? is it started? does dmesg show you your pcmcia controler being detected?

im assuming PCMCIA is loaded, it says it is during the Aurora lil fancy check list that mandrake 7.2 goes through. ARe you familiar with mandrake 7.2?

Whenit loads up, it has 2 entries for PCMCIA and a check mark beside both of htem, so im asuming its working.
