What Torx size is a regular hard drive screw.

I bought one that I think was size 10 or 15 but it was too big.

Anyone know the exact size I should get?

Thanx in advance

I've taken apart lots of harddrives, they usually have more then one size of Torx in them. I have a set that's 6,7,8, & 10 and until just last week they allowed me to disassumble every part of a drive. Then a met a Torx5 on a drive head assembly so now I'm searching for a smaller one. Just go to Sears or Homedepot or something and purchase a set of Jeweler's type Torx drivers might cost you $20 but they're very handy.

Or check out eBay for Torx sets; you might be able to find a seller that doesn't try to gut you with the shipping charges.
Some of the Torx screws on the inside of the drive are tiny, some maybe 4 or 5 size.
