I've been invited by a few grad schools to interview with them and was just wondering what I should wear when I interview. This is for molecular biology, so I'm gonna be talking to professors in their labs/offices, taking tours around campus, but they also say I'm going to be eating at some of the professors houses for dinner.

I'm assuming a suit would be a little bit over the edge. Business casual?

Sounds right. It shows respect for their position (as opposed to jeans and t-shirt) without going overboard.

I did my interviews by phone though, so I'm basing this more on how we interacted with faculty once we arrived (UW in Seattle). You're treated as being a step closer to a peer than the undergrads.
