what to use to clean Canon Print heads?

I have a Canon BJC-3000 & 6000 printer, and I am having problems. I wanted to clean the print heads, and was wondering what I should use? alcohol? if so, any special kind? rubbing alcohol? I know that guys sell a liquid at computer shows that you can use to clean the print heads, but I wanted to get something now, not from another computer show.

I threw my canon at my front door. Broke into a million pieces. Cant help you with your problem.

The link bacillus posted sounds right to me. I've been a printer tech for a long time, going back to dot matrix and daisy wheel printers, and have successfully used Isopropyl alcohol on all kinds and brands.
