What to use to capture video off a Sony Handicam?

I've got one of those Sony Handicam Hi-8 camcorders with some movies on there I'd like to import onto my system. It supports svideo and a/v out. Basically, I just want to know what I need as far as additional hardware to capture video off the camera to my computer. I've got firewire and USB for device ports, and as far as software goes, I'll probably be getting Premier, unless someone knows of something better. What do you guys recommend? Thanks.
