Current:
19" 933BW Samsung Monitor @ 1440x900
GTX 260
Q8200 at 3.2 GHZ
640 GB WD HDD (rated 5.9 in windows)
Asus P5QC Motherboard
Antec Nine hundred Two case
Zalmon 9500A Cooler
4GB Crucial Memory
Corsair 750TX power supply
MX518 mouse
Logitech 250 Deluxe keyboard
HT OMEGA CLARO+ Sound card
G13 Gamepad
ATH-AD700 Headphones
Logitech LS21 2.1 Speaker system
Windows 7 x64 Home Premium

So, I recently acquired ~$300.00 USD and I can't decide what to upgrade.

What I've been thinking:

- Saving for Bulldozer and upgrading my CPU/Mobo/RAM
- Getting a New Monitor
- Upgrading now to a Phenom II X4 or X6, benchmarks show significant improvements over what I have now.
- SSD?
- Or Getting one of the above things upgraded

why do you suggest that monitor? Its super new :X

i only suggest it, because it is good size, LED, and in your price range. you can go cheaper with LCD or something, or more expensive with larger panel and such. for monitors there isn't too much of a difference. If you need a 2nd opinion just post a link and im sure many of us would be happy to give it a look.

#1 Most important question that I can't believe hasn't been asked yet:

What aspect of your computer usage do you want to improve?

Heh, I still havent upgraded my monitor, so I guess that.

If you want to spend the whole $500 on a monitor, you can get a very nice one (U2410). Just look for coupon codes to bring the price under $500. Probably the last monitor that you will need to buy before we stop using LCD panels altogether.

If you don't want to spend quite that much, I'd suggest an ASUS like this VH242HL-P or VE247H.
