What to shave with?

Hey I pretty much have to shave every day now but to me its a pain using a blade and cream every day but i've heard that some people cant stand using electric razors. I'm also worried that the shave wont be as close as it could be with a blade..

Ive been usin the five blade thing for a while, its ok..

Electrics can get pretty close, but never as close as blades. However, it's so much more convenient and saves time when you use an electric. I only use blades for when I need an extra close shave like to a party or job interview.

I like my electric, though I have blades too. One of these days I'm going to invest in a nice safety razor set.

Mach3 and shave cream but my job doesn't care what my facial hair looks like so in any given month I'm maybe clean shaven once and the rest of the time I have some sort groomed stubble, beard, goatee thing.

Dremel with a good sized sanding disc?

Ouch.

I use a Gillette Fusion. Why? I have no idea. It's a little better than my Mach3 I guess. They had a deal on them at Costco. I got like 50 blades. I'm set for a while.

Get your cat to lick off your fluff

LOL, my dad used to make fun of me when I first started to grow facial hair. He said he was going to get me a cat so I could dab some milk on my face and the cat could lick my stub off.

Haha same here. I love Costco.

I'm going to wait until the new cell phone ban for drivers goes into effect in California before I get a new Remington Micro Screen Electric. I'll be talking hands free, so my hand will be free to shave while driving and I can still chat on the phone.

I like blades, close shave, but I've traveled for a summer shaving with an electric in the car. It saved time.

used an electric once and felt like it was pretty painful... I've stuck with my mach3 since.

I used a triple head Norelco before and it hurt my skin. The Remington Micro Screen works good though.

I have a braun electric razor and it works great. I've had it for about 18 months now and have saved so much money not having to buy mach3 blade refills anymore. Very close shave and no risk of slicing your neck open.

I've pretty much got a shaving schedule down which works well having Sunday and Monday off of work.

Tues - Shave in the morning, smooth.
Wed - Bumpy
Thurs - Acceptable, would shave if I was in a higher position.
Fri - Who cares, it's jeans day, I figure I don't have to shave, but would if it were any other day.
Sat - It's Sat, who cares, I wear shorts, etc.
Sun - I'd really shave if I didn't have to again in two days which would irritate my skin.
Mon - I look like a bum, but if I shaved now, I'd throw the whole thing off!

hah, If I don't shave for like 2 or 3 days I seriously look like the Wolfman or Robin Williams. Damn, fast growing hair.

Heh, I sometimes have to shave twice a day if I have an important dinner appointment (i'm 1/2 Italian, 1/4t Swiss, 1/4 Turkish).

I've been using the free Quattro razor I got from Hot Deals for over a year. Original blade.

Only need to shave once every five days or so for less than 1 minute. 🙂

I have to shave everyday. I've tried a few electric razors, notably Braun and Remington, but they can't come close to what you get with a blade. I shave now with an old Gillette DE razor, but I keep the Braun around for a quick cleanup after shaving. There are one or two spots that the geometry of the razor can't get into and the Braun can be pushed into the skin to catch them a little closer.

Mach 3 Turbo FTW.

I shave in the shower and it only takes maybe 2 mins total.
I used shave with an electric, but I'd get lazy and never take the time and in like four days I'd look homeless. I went to Bed, Bath, and Beyond and bought a fog-free mirror and started shaving in the shower every morning.

It's great. I should have started doing that years ago.

Generally if you get a nice razor (3 or more blades, has the aloe strips) and wet your face with warm water, and run the razor under warm water a lot, the shaving cream isn't needed.

At least that's how it works for me...

Going from a razor to electric would be disappointing...
