What to see in Portland?

I've been there once, but all I remember was the big empty place in the middle of downtown, anyone got any more advice?

btw, we are not going to stay overnight there, it's just a one day round trip.

Rose Gardens, Washington Park Zoo (Great if you haven't been there in a few years.), NW 23rd, Multnoma Falls, Mt Tabor, OMSI.

If you like beer- McMenamins Kennedy School, BridgePort Brew Pub, Widmer Brothers, Rock Bottom

There's also an abundance of dancing clubs of the x rated veriety. I believe about 30 in the local area.


If it were me, I would probably go to OMSI and look around and catch a flik at the Omnimax. Nothing like 80+ft dome screen with something like 200 speakers all around you.

Then I would go down to Rock Bottom and get drunk.

A bunch of friends and family of mine have been moving there. Its kind of weird, like a mass migration of people I know. So I guess I'll end up going there at some point.

Pioneer Courthouse Square is big and open and in the middle of town. It's a great place to be on Tuesdays and Thursdays at noon.
