I am getting a New 1.2 Ghz AMD and was wondering what I shoud set the multiplier/FSB at. I will have an Abit KT7 A raid and 2 256 MB 133 cas 3 crucial RAM sticks. I want my ram to get optimal speed. I was thinking 9 * 134 or 9 * 135.

ScottyB: You'll probably be able to do much better than that! If that's the RAM with the Infineon chips, it ought to take 137+ fsb easily, but that T-Bird should do no less than 1300MHz! At CAS2 settings at that speed with a 140 fsb, you should be able to have insane memory bandwidth; I've got a T-Bird 1000@1301 running at 137MHz fsb and I can run UT at 1600x1200, 32-bit, on my Radeon64 at over 60fps! Let us know your results when you get the rig up and running, okay?:)

PS. Why not try for 1400MHz?:p

I have no money, work at Burger King and going to college next year, so I don't want to fry my chip. I would like to get around 1250 if it is like 100000 to 1 that it won't fry anything.

I seriously doubt you could fry a 1.2GHz T-Bird at 1.85V. If I'm not mistaken, the rated voltage for this cpu is either 1.8V or 1.85V. If the overclock is beyond the capabilities of your processor it either won't boot or won't load Windows. Give it a try; you'll be glad you did!:)
