I am new to watercooling. My Koolance Exos is going to be here on Wednesday and I need to figure out what mixture I am using with this setup. Some say don't use Anti-Freeze, some say its ok?

What is the best combination of distilled water + ????? to make my watercooling setup have maximum efficiency?

Distilled water, if you have a mixed metal loop, an anti corrosive and a biocide. Doesn't the come with a distilled water additive?

You can use this if you want green coolant, and everything you need in one bottle. This works well if you want to add your own dye. Protect Pro says you should use it with tap, but it works just as well in distilled. FCPU is kind of expensive, but I shop with them because they ship fast and have good customer support. If you google around you might be able to find both products a bit cheaper, if you're so inclined.

If you need help with anything else let me know.

My Koolance EXOS just arrived via fedex! It looks nice. Not bad for $110 for the exos and the 200G cpu cooler!

I am thinking of cancelling my order from frozenpc.com I asked for 2 day and paid $10 for it and its been 48 hours and they are not through "processing my order"

EDIT: Just got off the phone with them, they said it shipped today. Ok....a lot of good that does me.

This swiftech mixture better be worth the wait!

DAMNIT, I just cancelled my order for my GPU cooler too from koolance distributor. Shady bastards listed it as in stock but now for some reason they don't.

Yeah, he told me that it went out today and their fedex mailer is down. I just received the email right now for it. Problem being I go back to school on saturday and I wanted tihs done tomorrow. I bought some Royal Purple anti-freeze and some steam distilled water however.

I am still curious what I am going to do about this GPU considering it is out of stock everywhere. I think I might just buy the cheaper one that doesn't cover the ram chips.

Does anyone know if I have to buy extra tubing from koolance for the GPU cooler or does it come with the cooler?

The EXOS should come with its own mixture already, if not you can buy one for $6 from Koolance. IIRC it's also UV reactive.

It is a used system. So it did not.

My mistake if I missed it somewhere in this thread.

Here is the premixed solution. I know you already got your mixture but I just wanted to show you. As for the tubing, you can but that stuff anywhere, just get the right size. :)
