What to major in???

I'm so confused. I left Rutgers for a little while to help take care of my grandmom who recently died. I'm almost finished my A.S. in General Studies from a community college.

I have absolutely no idea what to major in. I called Rutgers, and apparently they dont transfer online classes... I didn't know that before I took them. So I can't go back to Rutgers now because I'm not wasting a year of my life.

I have no idea what to major in...

Rutgers -- Philosophy/Anthropology
Then I switched to Math when I went to the community college. I just switched to Gen. Studies so I could finish a semester faster.

I really have no idea what I want to do. I have 5 years of employment history in computers, but I'm fairly sure that I DONT want to major in Comp. Sci. Ahhh... Help?

Hmmm. Do you mind working for a living? If not, I'd say go for electrician apprenticeship w/ a union or something along those lines. They pay you while you're training and you'll have pretty good avenues in three to five years; or, you could go back to school. I'd suggest Rutgers--in Phil you would land a nice assistantship in a doctorate program assuming you get a good GRE score, and I'm sure there are other programs you might be interested in. You might reconsider CS--lots of options there.

Go to Rutger's. It's a good school, and that means a lot more than a year of your life. Why did you go to a community college anyway?

I had to come home to help with my grandmother. I decided to take some classes while I was down here so I wouldnt be wasting time.
