What to look out for in a mbp?

I saw an i7 15" mbp on Craigslist for very cheap and was wondering what are the issues to watch out for aside from the scams. Any advice would be appreciated.

With that particular model, i am not aware of any hardware issues. But you will definitely want to see it in person, and see what kind of warranty is left on it.

Just put in the serial number there and you should be able to check it. I'm not sure, but it may even tell you if it was reported stolen too.

it's not hard to get mainboards without serial #'s programmed already.

Apple just added i7 as an option for 15" MBP couple of months ago. As long as it's a legit laptop there shoulbe be plenty of warranty left and you should be able to upgrade to Apple Care.
