What to look for in an LCD monitor

im not looking for recommendations on specific models. im wondering what are the things to look for when making a selection?

ie. response time? does brand matter very much? etc, etc

as for response time... whats considered good? and bad?

You want a response time of 16ms or faster if you are playing games.

If you are looking for a larger sized screen like a 20" I would recommend a Dell 2001FP.

For brands I would recommend Dell and Samsung....make sure you get a 3-year warranty whatever you get.
