What to look for in a video card for video editing

Sorry for the basiciness of this question, but I need to replace the AGI Rage Pro I have (AGP 2X) because it's a bottleneck when I do video editing.

I'm not going to ask what is the 'best' card is, only what do I look for to get the best results for this one particular application.
