I know close to nothing about a piano keyboard so you guys gotta help me. my sis is currently playing the piano and I wanna start learning again...the more options the better, and it has to be able to connect to a computer - all at the lowest price possible.

and I have a few specific questions:

1) what brand has the reputation of providing quality stuff?

2) what interface do most keyboards use to hook up to a comp and is it sufficient (ie fast enough)?

They hook up with a midi connection on the sound card or just using the line in jack. You will not find a good keyboard without spending at least $600 or $700. Go to the store and try a couple out. They best ones have the wieghted keys and feel like a piano. The better music stores will also have quality used ones that might suit your needs.

I'd guess money, gold, and cute brunettes. Do they come standard with these? :D

FatAlbo,

The ones with 88 keys are over $1200 but they are damn nice. They feel like real piano keys.
