what determines a good precise, accurate mouse? what do u look for? ive heard that logitech arent bad, but too bad, i dont like their style much, it's too chunky.

how about this kensington? is 1000dpi enough for gaming? i dont game all that much.

Stay away from Razer, at least until they fix the disconnect/reconnect issue. Gohere and search the page for 'disconnect' if you doubt the validity of the issue. AND that's just a random Razer blog page, not even the official tech support area. (My less-than-seven-month-old Habu died this week, so I'm fairly bitter towards any Razer mice right now, and it seems a lot of people share my sentiment.)

Good mice, poor QC.

some say it is. most probably aren't that sensitive. the newer mx/g series cordless gaming mice are just pretty damn sweet. really cheap models with long battery life/using aa's might have lower refresh rates...cordless mice have improved a long way. long time ago they used to be 25hz or so..ick.

imo, yes cord is much better than wireless for gaming, but if you're just a light/casual gamer then there are some pretty decent cordless mice available that can do the job well.

With a cord you never have to worry about batteries dying or signal interference, and there is definitely going to be tangible input lag relative to corded mice, especially gaming grade corded mice

but from your original post you did say you didn't game all that much and thus I'm not sure you'd have to worry too much about the pros and cons of corded vs. wireless
