What to get a girl I don't know?

I'm going to her party courtesy of my friend who invited me to go with him. I need to bring her a gift, what should I get her?
 
when you say 'I don't know'.. in the topic... did you mean that:

1) you don't know the girl?
2) you don't know what to get her?
 
Get her a scented candle. They're cheap and guaranteed to be liked. Just make sure you smell it first, some of them smell pretty weird.
 
Alcohol.

Wine is the most likely gift. I like to give scotch. Glenfiddich, Glenlivet, Macallan are my suggestions, in order of price.

Whoooo, claaasssy 😀. Make sure they each come "gift wrapped" in their very own 40-size brown bag 😛

I'd say wine, but if you don't know her...what if she's one of those "non drinking" folks? Or doesn't like wine? Or, as has been said, a recovering alcoholic?

I second the scented candle thing. Girls love candles for some reason 😕. Plus it's a very "safe" gift for someone you don't know.
