What to do?

Hi all,

Need a quick advice.

I've moved from South Jersey to South Plainfield, NJ. I graduated College, and life is going good for me right now (despite my ex girlfriend who lives about 2 miles away calling me a few days ago just to tell me she met a new guy? But that's not important).

Anyway, where I live is nice, but there are a LOT of trucks. The apartments are right off 287 and it is loud. I can't sleep and it bugs me. I have permission to get out of my lease if I make a decision soon.

So now I have to decide:

a) Should I move out or "get used" to the trucks?
b) If I move out, my parents have offered to let me move in with them for a few months so I don't need to find a place right away. They are about 20 minutes North of me right now so my commute would turn from 20 minutes to 40 minutes each day, but it would be rent free, so I could save money. The negative to this is that I wouldn't have as much freedom (obviously), and I've lived on my own for about 5 years now, so I'd have to get used to this.
c) Otherwise, if I want to move out, I can try to find a place with availability quickly, but chances are a place with immediate availability will probably have availability for a reason...... I've checked apartmentraitings.com, and there are some nice ones, but not with immediate availability.

So.... should I stay where I am, move out and live with the parents until I find a place (or until maybe I buy a place?), or find a place before this weekend and try to move there?

The poll is yours... please help. 🙂

I voted for moving back in with your parents. If you are not happy where you are then find someplace else. Living with your parents is not a bad thing as long as you are self sufficient with a job to help with expenses.
