😕

If you had the oportunity to buy a used dell axim x30 PDA 624mhz, bluetooth, wifi, with an extra 256mb card for 250.00 would you buy it? I am in a jam, I don't know what to do. Thanks for the help.

Hot Deals and RossMAN's GottaDeal.com have had the axim alone for around $275-280 a few times, and SD memory is dirt cheap, so it's an OK deal for used but not mind-boggling.

I'd rather have shiny-new one and a full warranty, plus I hate to buy used from friends/acquaintances in case there is ever a problem. But I'm not on a tight budget so saving $40-50 isn't that important to me.

Personally I wouldn't buy any QVGA PDA nowadays. I've had 4-5 PDAs and going up to a VGA screen was the best upgrade in that entire chain. I'd recommend dropping by one of the big retail stores that lets you play with them and decide if you can really put up with the low res of the X30 for however many years you intend to have it vs. waiting a while a while for VGA prices to come down.
