theres no point in buying the 3800+ right now because there is no motherboard out to support it. u might as well wait a month or until boards come out (even though one comes out in 2 weeks). the price will probably drop a bit then, so save your money and time.

Are your asking whether to get a 3800 with 1 gig or 3500 with 2 gigs?

Get 3800 with 1 gig, but the mobo and processor aren't out yet and will not be for a month or longer. Just wait a little while for AMD to release cheaper processors for the new socket 939 mobo's. 3800 is only about $13 cheaper than FX-53 and that is 10% slower. So I'd say don't get the 3800, get FX-53 instead.
