What to do with this 40" Samsung LEDTV that came with a messed up screen?

I ordered a 40" Samsung Series 5 Model 5003 LEDTV and it came with a messed up screen during shipping. I already got a new one replaced but the company never asked me to send this TV back. I tried to turn it on and there are large spots and lines all over even though the back display seems to be working fine. Does this have any value in the marketplace to sell? Do I just throw it out? Retail price is around $300.
