Well, after becoming all too familiar with the blue screen of death, I finally RMA'd my A0-stepping MSI 655 MAX-LS board [the most unstable piece-o-trash I have ever encountered in all my years as a computer nerd]. It finally came back - but they sent another A0 board! My original S/N was 0302063451, new S/N is 0303047670. I thought I would ask you guys if it is worth trying again. Did anyone ever get one of these boards to work?

Well, Im not sure I had the A0 stepping version. I had the FISR version and it was not HT enabled, so it was as I recall an A something version. Regardless, I had it running just fine for a couple of months and then a few weeks ago it died.:( I tried fixing, but the more I tried the more it degenerated. It now wont even get to the opening screen that says anything. I am going to pack it up today and RMA it. I hope I get the newer version.
I wonder if how many people have had problems with that board?

I am getting sent a 865PE Neo2 -FIS2R. If I were you, I would try to at least RMA for a B0 stepping or wait for the 655FX MAX which is rumored to show up in October.
