I'm with Jywatt, you should keep it, not throw it out, although BA's idea of sticking it on the backside somewhere does sound interesting, it could help your card run cooler.
thanks so far...im interested to know how you would stick that on the backside and would it make a big difference? i mean a noticeable difference of like 4 to 5 celcius? well actually i guess 2 or 3 is good too. but id be scared to stick it on the circuits back there. also, i have a 20mm fan i could attach to the heatsink. if anyone has any thoughts on this, im interested to read them =)
chipset cooler, southbridge ...back of the V5 is tuff cause theres no flat spot for it. You can cut and sand a copper pennie or silver dime (old pure coins) to use as a riser. Ohhh and dont go plugging the V5 fans into 12v main they dont like it and get very hot in the middle. I dont know if they are 7v maybe but it got hot when I tryed it.
