What to do with original playstation?

Guys -

I'm undergoing a massive cleaning spree over here - and ran across my old playstation in my closet, complete with cords and controllers etc.

Is this worth anything at all?

And perhaps the better question - is there anything good I can do with it? Can you even still buy games for it? Are there little kid games available for it or anything like that? I might have a few friends with younger kids who might want it - but not sure if there is any software out there for it? Or am I sitting on a little kid goldmine, can I find titles at k-mart for $4.99 or something like that?

Ah, as I recall it's already modded.

But, for the few I can find for sale online, still doesn't seem to be worth much of anything. (And who would want a ps1 when they could have a ps2?)

I've got a modded xbox that I practically never play, so the last thing I need is a playstation to go along with it.

Turn it into a Portable http://benheck.com/Games/PSp/PSp%20page%201.htm

while that's pretty cool, it's for a PSOne, not the original PS.

You're right..... ooops.

Running non-stop on a fully charged NP-550 battery, the unit will operate for about 1.45 hours, or long enough to perform 3 spells in Final Fantasy VII.

i love seeing homemade projects like this, so thanks for the link 🙂
