Has anyone ever thought of chopping up there old heatsinks for 486s and p90s and the such? I was thinking about just putting it on my NorthBridge and SouthBridge and other chips on the mobo and alike. Or would this be a pure waste of time? Would this be a good idea to put on Ram? Or would a rammsink be a better opition? Anyone have any other ideas? Just a thought. Oh, this might be off subject, whats a good thermal paste or tape thats removable. I am going to be building a Anthlon soon, with a quality HSF. Something that i dont want permentaly stuck to a proccesser.

Yes, I've done that. They make very nice RAMsinks on my GF4 Ti4200, and I've also used them on voltage regulators and other chips on the motherboard.
If you must have the best RAM cooling though (I assume you mean video card RAM?) then there are copper ramsinks out there, but they'll cost a pretty decent amount, just for a few chunks of copper.
Oh, and before anyone gets all crazy on you, it's spelled "Athlon." ;)

Ornaments for a Christmas tree, maybe...?

On the first day of Christmas, my true love gave to me
A heatsink from a P3...

On the second day of Christmas, my truelove gave to me
Two retail fans
